Medtipster has partnered with Birdi (formerly NoviXus) to offer Mail Delivery
Mail Delivery offers free delivery of medications to a convenient place - home, work, or doctor’s office. We recommend this service if you take a medication on an ongoing basis. Here’s what you need to know to use the service.

Complete the Mail Order Enrollment Form and mail to Birdi.
90 Day Prescription
Your doctor must write your prescription for a 90-day supply (or the number of days your plan allows for mail service). There may be limitation on some medications, such as controlled medications, due to state and federal laws. Send your original prescriptions to Birdi, one of these ways:
Electronically
This is the quickest way to fill your prescription. Ask your doctor to electronically send your prescription to Birdi Pharmacy Services.
By Fax
1-877-395-4836. Only prescribers may fax prescriptions to a pharmacy. *Provider helpdesk please call 1-877-269-1159.
By Mail
Write your Member ID and date of birth on your prescriptions, and mail to:

Refilling Prescriptions
Birdi offers several easy ways to order your prescriptions. The best time to order refills is when you have a 14 day supply of your medicine left. This will ensure you receive your refill before you run out of your medicine.
- By Phone: Order by calling Birdi Patient Care Center at 1-877-668-4987 (24 hr automated phone line)
- Online: Create an account that allows you to securely log in to request a refill prescription. Visit birdirx.com
Payment
Payment is required with every prescription order. Birdi accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and checks. Make your copayment by phone at 1-877-668-4987 or by mail. Once you have registered an online account, you can add or update your payment cards online or through our automated phone system.
Medication Preference
Birdi substitutes FDA-approved generic equivalent drugs for any brand name medications ordered, if available and permitted by your doctor. A generic drug is a variation of a brand name that has the same effectiveness, quality, safety, and strength, as confirmed by the FDA. If you prefer to receive only brand medications and pay the additional cost, please contact Birdi Patient Care Center.
Prescription Order Shipping
Your prescription order will be shipped using US Mail. Some items may be shipped by expedited courier. Refrigerated items are shipped in accordance with FDA and manufacturers’ specifications. For your security, some controlled substances may require a signature at delivery. You may check the status of your prescription order by calling Birdi at 1-877-668-4987.
Member Services
Member services representatives at Birdi Patient Care Center are available to answer questions and help with your mail delivery prescription orders. Pharmacists are available for consultations if you have questions about your medications, including how to take it, what to do if you miss a dose, side effects or drug interactions. For medical emergencies, please call 911.
